On top of these longer playlists, there are new events dropping at various times (including login events and free rewards) and Tournament Playlists running every weekend throughout the season! Through those playlists you can try out Ground War, Alcatraz, and more.
Through the S10 Battle Pass and various events you can acquire new weapons, operators, and a new Battle Royale Class. The Battle Pass itself features four new operators in the paid side:
- (Tier 1) Synaptic – Tranquility
- (Tier 12) Girasol – Clairvoyant
- (Tier 30) Polina - Runic Hunter
- (Tier 50) Francis - Special Operations Executive
Additionally, on the free side of the Battle Pass you’ll be able to grab the new BR Class – Teleportation Beacon at Tier 14, the new smg USS 9 at Tier 21, various weapon camos, calling cards, and more. Here is a general look at some of those new BP operators and weapons blueprints:
New Free Battle Pass Items
That new BR Class, Teleportation Beacon unlocked at Tier 14 in the BP, allows you to put down a portal on the map that you can teleport to any time as long as you are not in combat. It can be utilized to allow for some unique strategies, like being able to have a safe and quick way to get back to a secure part of the map after you go off exploring near the encroaching circle.
BR Class - Teleportation Beacon
The latest weapon, the USS 9, is a fast-firing SMG with strong hip fire capabilities and excellent accuracy at close-mid range. While it isn’t as fast or high damage as something like the Fennec, it is consistently powerful in both hip fire and ADS scenarios with a significant amount of customization options through Gunsmith. Unlock this new weapon at Tier 21 in the free tier of S10 Battle Pass.
ALCHEMY STARS EVENT
To follow up on our previous message, we are bringing you all a way to earn the rewards from this event during Season 10: Anniversary. We’ll be launching an event tied to Krai related tasks, plus a few general ones, that will each reward you with Alchemy Stars Crates.
We don’t have a specific launch time for the event just yet, but we can confirm it is likely coming around mid-season. We’ll update further on our official Call of Duty: Mobile social channels with exact timing once we get closer to the launch of that event.
KRAI INTRODUCTION STORY
Embark on a special single player mission as Urban Tracker and Kumo-chan to explore Krai’s Sanatorium for insight into Krai’s secret history. Follow clues and engage in combat alongside your robot companion as Rin Yoshida commands the duo from a remote location.
Single Player - Krai Introduction Event
Engage in mini-games to get through security and keep an eye out for similar mini-games in regular Krai Battle Royale matches. Completing those mini-games will often provide unique and powerful in-match weapons or rewards.
Additionally, we’ll have an in-game Kumo-chan arena, Kumo Clash, launching to allow you to compete with other players. Through this mini-game of its own, you’ll be pitting your own Kumo-chan against others while trying to earn more rewards.
KRAI MAP HIGHLIGHT
It is an honor to be able to present to you the first Battle Royale map in Call of Duty: Mobile in many years – Krai. This mid-size map is filled with a mixture of brand-new designs and areas from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (2020). This highlight will give you a glimpse at several points of interest (POI for short), but there will be plenty more to find and explore yourself once you drop in yourself.
Krai includes five major points of interest: In the map’s center, encounter the Knight Station transit hub. Enter the Principia Sanatorium to the south, Tranquility Parish to the northwest, and the abandoned Safari Land Animal Play Park and Thistledown Village Industrial Park to the east.
Principia Sanatorium
This stand-out building, Sanatorium for short, is likely to be a major hotspot as it is nearly always in view from any central area of the map. The interior floors are packed with loot and built to support close quarters combat, while the roof provides scenic and tactical views of all nearby areas.
The immediate area around Principia Sanatorium is filled with large office buildings, hills, and plenty of verticality. Thanks to these buildings, it is possible to approach the main structure from every angle and with ample opportunities to take cover from snipers.
Featured - Principia Sanatorium and Knight Station
Just down the street from the main building is the scenic beachfront featuring a pier, small stores, umbrellas set up on the beach, and everything players need to relax. From a tactical standpoint, this beachside area also features several underground entrances that lead into Principia Sanatorium.
Knight Station
This is the most central POI of Krai, with quick traversal options leading out of the station. While on one side of the rail is a train, which can be activated and looted (but not used for travelling), the other side is a zipline that can quickly lead you into nearby areas. If you manage to activate the train, all players in the match will be notified that it is open and filled with valuable gear.
While the area is full of small buildings and a significant amount of cover to utilize, it is a great spot for players who love long-range combat with several overlook spots from nearby POIs or the small park on the hill behind the station itself.
Tranquility Parish
This hillside village, Parish for short, is tucked into the corner of the map and nestled up against the mountainside. This area boasts verticality as one of its main features thanks to the terrain continually sloping upwards with stairs everywhere, and due to the designs of various large buildings with multiple floors, windows, and overlook spots.
Featured - General Krai Map and Tranquility Parish
Heading to Tranquility Parish from other parts of this map will likely leave players feeling vulnerable to snipers and spotters, as most of the map locales consist of few buildings and farmland. The town itself provides ample opportunity for all styles of gameplay and loadouts, but players should utilize stealth focused BR classes or vehicles to protect them from ambushes.
ANNIVERSARY EVENTS & GAMES
Throughout the season there are a wealth of events activating to celebrate our 5th Anniversary. You’ll see normal events like daily login, weekly themed events, and an all-season long milestone collection (via Challenge HQ), but you also see unique events activating around Krai, 5th Anniversary celebrations, Kumo Clash, and ways to collect the calling cards themed around the season’s archetypes.
On top of the mini games that we brought up earlier, there are also a variety of mini-games hidden within Krai and surfacing through other in-game events. For example, we have a tradition of sharing letters from our developers through in-game pickups that you can find in Battle Royale. This season, you’ll be able to find those in Krai and an associated event.
INTERDIMENSIONAL MYTHIC DROP
This monumental season needs more ways to celebrate it, so we have a new Mythic Drop coming your way just after launch. The Interdimensional Mythic Drop features the operator Bulldozer – Dark Star and the mythic weapon USS 9 – Fusion. That weapon features an art style that mixes comics and a futuristic design. This Mythic Drop will be live from 11/8 until the end of Season 10.
