Battle Pass
The Season 2: Heavy Metal Battle Pass is now live! This new pass features the operators: The Marshal, Deadman, Domino, and Beck. The weapons in the pass include the QXR, SP-R 208, HBra3, Koshka, and the new weapon the Maddox. We also have the new perk – Unit Support earnable in the pass as well as a variety of other items and blueprints. New Weapon – Maddox
Now available at tier 21 in the free path of the Battle Pass is the new Assault Rifle – the Maddox. The Maddox is a bullpup assault rifle originally from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This new functional weapon is a high-mobility assault rifle with a relatively fast fire rate and the special Echo Fire Mod. This Mod will maximize the damage done by the Maddox. You can mix and match attachments like any of our weapons in-game to make the build that fits your playing style, one recommended build we have can be seen below -
In addition to the base version of this weapon at tier 21, an Epic version of the weapon – the Maddox - Aerodynamic is available at tier 50 of the premium Battle Pass. And, if you keep an eye out, you’ll see a Legendary version of the Maddox available in a draw later in the season!
New Perk – Unit Support
Available at tier 14 of the free Battle Pass is the latest MP Perk coming to Call of Duty: Mobile – Unit Support. Unit Support, as the name implies, is all about giving you support based on how well your team – or unit – is performing. As a tier 3 blue perk, Unit Support will earn players progress toward their next Scorestreaks and Operator Skills when their teammates eliminate enemies. For Operator Skills, Unit Support will give players a 20% charge for their Operator Skills, however, their own contributions to their own Operator Skill will be reduced by 60%. For Scorestreaks players will get a 10% charge for each teammate’s elimination while capturing objectives.
New MP Map – Diesel
This iconic Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer map has made its way to Call of Duty: Mobile! Diesel is a map of an abandoned gas station in the middle of the barren desert. In this post-apocalyptic landscape, people may be rare but that doesn’t mean an enemy isn’t behind each corner. The main lanes of Diesel are simple and straightforward so fierce combat should be expected. Diesel will be playable in Call of Duty: Mobile starting 3/03 and continue through the season.
New Mode - Goliath Clash
Gear up and get ready for a clash of giants because Goliath Clash is here! In this new MP Mode – which also happens to be the first TPP MP mode in CODM - players will load into the match locked and loaded in their Goliath suit. The mode has domination-style gameplay where players will capture points on the map. A successful capture will drop a battery that players can use to upgrade their Goliath suits. There will be three unique upgradable paths that players can choose from to customize their Goliath suits to best fit their playing style. The upgrades will give players the following –
Blue Upgrade – this upgrade path is best for close combat and aggressive style playing. Choosing the Blue path will give players a giant melee weapon with improved damage, a sliding skill, and faster movement speed.
Red Upgrade – this path is for those who like it hot. Choosing the Red path will give players the Purifier, a health boost, and increased defense on all incoming damage.
Silver Upgrades – this upgrade path is for the well-balanced player who can hang back and provide suppressive fire for their teammates. Choosing the Silver path will give players enhanced firepower, increased damage, and a health boost.
Seasonal Challenges
Too Attached
The first Seasonal Challenge of the season is live now! The Too Attached challenge will have players dominating MP matches using their go-to AR. The later tasks in the challenge will have you showing how adept you are with your M4, and if you complete these tasks you’ll earn yourself 13K BP XP as well as the brand new signature attachment for the M4 – the Underbarrel Launcher. This attachment – commonly and “lovingly” referred to as the noob tube – the Underbarrel Launcher will turn your M4 into a grenade launcher to blast your enemies off the map. Completing all of the tasks in this seasonal challenge will also earn you -
- Manta Ray – Aquatic Adventure (Shard) (Epic)
- Calling Card – Restful Spirit (Rare)
- GKS – Wretched Dawn (Rare)
- M4 Signature Attachment – Underbarrel Launcher
Team Player
The second Seasonal Challenge of Season 2: Heavy Metal will launch on 2/28 UTC. The Team Player seasonal challenge will have players using perks and scorestreaks in MP matches to help your team secure the W. Completing all the tasks will not only prove you are truly a team player (I bet you even play objective 😉 ) but will earn you 15K BP XP as well as the following -
- Manta Ray – Aquatic Adventure (Shard) (Epic)
- Helicopter – Wretched Dawn (Rare)
- Charm – Open End Wrench (Rare)
- Holger 26 – Wretched Dawn (Rare)

Compared with the mode Control, there's no live limitations in Chaos Control.
Goliath Clash!
This is the first TPP mode in Multiplayer. It's 5v5 and players will fight as a Goliath and use their skills to capture the objectives.
New Perk
Unit Support
While equipped, the player's Operator Skill will charge by 20% for every teammate's kill, but player's personal contribution to their Operator Skill is reduced by 60%. Player's Scorestreak charge will increase by 10% from teammate’s kills while capturing Objectives. Unit Support only brings bonus to charging speed and the charging speed will be adjusted according to the maximum number of players.

BK57 performs stable in terms of lethality, but still not stable enough for mid-range combat against other Assault Rifles. Therefore we hope to make an improvement on it by reducing the hit flinch and ADS bullet spread.

Man-O-War
Man-O-War is of high damage at the cost of fire rate and mobility. It’s not necessary to be so bulky on its reloading and ADS speed.

ICR-1 is only a little short of range and stability from mid-range strong Assault Rifles. It's time to buff it.

LAPA will rapidly lose its edge out of the first damage range even with great damage and mobility. We enhanced range and bullet speed to make it more reliable in majorities of the combat scenarios.

CBR4 performs at an extremely high level among SMGs in terms of movement while ADS's. With powerful endurance and well performance in ballistic, it was always the best selection in medium and close range combat.
