Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile community! We are back and thrilled to announce the next Season of Call of Duty: Mobile will be the secretive Season 4 – Veiled Uprising. This season will launch next week on 4/26 5PM PT. Some of you may have already noticed that we’re doing something a little different this season with our Community Updates. Rather than just one giant Community Update that accompanies our season launch, this season we will have our Announce Community Update (this one) and then a second Launch Community Update (happening next week).
We want to continue to get information out to you all as quickly as we can! That being said if there is a section you usually look forward to in the Community Update and you don’t find it here, chances are it will be in the Launch Community Update next week! Okay, now on to the fun stuff. Per usual, accompanying our announcement for the new season is our Official Season 4: Veiled Uprising Trailer -

In addition to all of the modes and events listed above, this season has a ton of new content that we will cover below!
New Weapon – OTs 9
Stop enemies in their tracks with the new functional weapon - the OTs 9. From Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War the OTs 9 will be soon available in Call of Duty: Mobile at tier 21 in the free tiers of the Season 4 Battle. This SMG has high damage, stopping power, fire rate, and mobility. However, make sure and take out your enemies quickly with this weapon as it has a low-capacity magazine – so players will need to make each bullet count!
In addition to the base version of this weapon at tier 21, a Legendary version of the OTs 9 will be available in a draw later in the season!
New Weapon – Dobvra
Pistol lovers rejoice – a new Pistol is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile. Originally seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops and seen in a multitude of Call of Duty’s since then (including being a favorite pistol in Warzone), the Dobvra will be earnable in COD:M Season 4 through Seasonal Challenges. Launching 5/1 UTC is the Seasonal Challenge Sidearm Scuffle where among other things, players can earn the Dobvra.
For players who don’t main Pistols, this new Pistol will be a more than reliable secondary option for you after running out of ammo in your main weapon. Instead of reloading, try switching to this all-around dependable pistol and take out the enemy! And oh by the way...for players who do love running the pistol...did we mention this Pistol will be available to Akimbo? We would highly recommend dual-wielding the Dobvra with Akimbo and seeing how that feels 😉.
New MP Map – Arsenal
Launching a little later in the season (5/05 UTC) is the newest MP Map to come to Call of Duty: Mobile – Arsenal. This map was first seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and explores a futuristic military defense manufacturing facility from the year 2045 (although that future seems to be quickly approaching or maybe we are just getting old). Arsenal has plenty of opportunities for close quarters combat inside the actual facility but also features two major flanking routes along the sides that players can also take advantage of. There are also ventilation shafts throughout the building that players can use to covertly capture objectives and take out enemies. If you plan on playing with this ventilation strategy on Arsenal, we highly recommend using the John McClane operator when doing so. We will be featuring a full flythrough of this map on our social channels, so be sure and keep an eye out for that!
New Perk - Dauntless
The latest perk coming to Call of Duty: Mobile is the Dauntless perk. This is a red perk and will help players charge through the battlefield unphased by various effects. The full effects of this perk are -
- All burning damage received is reduced
- Movement speed debuffs have no effect
This perk can be earned in the Seasonal Challenge Dauntless launching 5/23 UTC.
New BR Class – Shock Wave
Available at tier 14 of the free path of the Season 4 Battle Pass is the new BR Class – Shock Wave. Players can activate this class to push enemies, projectiles, vehicles, and objects away from them. And the heavier the object the less it will move, for instance, a heavy vehicle like a tank will just take damage while a smaller vehicle like a motorcycle will be pushed away significantly. This wave will also then damage enemies and vehicles. The Shock Waves can be fired three times and if timed right can be used to reflect any incoming missiles, rockets, or other explosives.
Timeout Issue
Just wanted to give a quick update on the Timeout Issue that players have been having. The team has identified the root of this issue and a fix should be live. If you are still getting a Timeout issue while playing COD:M please go ahead and your Region and your UID. This info will be super valuable to the team. Thanks!
