A lot of players have been suffering this issue. We enter the game, it does the login automatically, loads the game and the loading bar gets stuck at 99% and then we get the Timeout message pop up. We then manually log in, the game starts as normal, but when we get to the main menu screen, the event tab is nowhere to be found, be it in the menu, in MP or BP. It’s just gone. The users networks don’t seem to be the problem. The support center has advised us to connect to a WLAN instead of using mobile data, though those people kept getting the same loading issue. Players have been checking hoe their mobile data was loading and their connection is working just fine.

I myself am experiencing this extremely infuriating issue. I do not have WLAN since it’s too expensive. I have unlimited 5G data so it renders itself practically useless. I’ve been using Hotspot on my xbox and Laptop at home and I have no connection issues whatsoever. Even others games on my phone work just fine. Hell, a friend also noticed that I have quicker loading times on a mobile game we both play on. Not an out of world difference, though worth mentioning. When I’m fiddling around trying to get the event tab to pop up, I spend more than half an hour loging out, loging back in, closing the game, reopen it again, fixing through deleting the last update, turning off my data and turning it back on again. As soon as the game finally starts working fine and the event tab opens, the time I had where I could have played is gone and I couldn’t even enjoy the game for a single minute.

My question is, why does this happen and for how long will we have to suffer from this? It boggles me that not everyone is encountering this issue, but those that are, are just as annoyed as me. We have tried to get into contact with the support team but it’s always the same. Either it’s our issue: „it seems your network is the problem“, or we just straight up get ignored.
