As a few of you may know, despite not making a post in \checks calendar** a really long time, we monitor this community for your feedback and reach out on a 1:1 basis for issue investigation. We’re here today to break our silence to ask for your feedback in a more official capacity.
In today’s patch, we’re introducing something new to Featured Playlists... an Experimental Playlist!
Since Vanguard’s launch, we’ve recognized that the spawn system has faced challenges with the diversity in map design and dynamic intensity in our game, particularly on smaller maps. When functioning correctly, a primary goal of the spawn system is to prevent players from spawning in a position where an enemy player immediately threatens them. We know this system needs some adjustments based on analytics and player feedback.
In the new Experimental Playlist, we have modified the spawn system to better determine the quality of a given spawn location on the map. With these changes, players should feel that spawns are less random, especially in objective-based modes. In the first iteration of what will be a reoccurring Experimental Playlist, players will experience a moshpit of the following maps and modes.
- Maps: Shipment, Das Haus, and Dome
- Modes (Core): Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint
The Experimental Playlist is available now! Give it a try, rate your experience in our survey, and share your feedback with us in this thread.
