[2022] Hold up, this game's store is region locked??

but why?? I have a US PSN account and bought the AU region disc and now I can't access the store and even worse, every single time I finish a match and the store tries to load I get an error message and there is no way for me to back out of that loop other than to restart the game entirely???

Anyone have the same issue or know if there is a work around for this?
