No, MWZ is purely PVE.
"Raw and Refined Aetherium Crystals: These are used to upgrade your Pack-a-Punch weapon to Levels I and II, respectively."
What exactly does that mean? You can further upgrade your weapons with Crystals AFTER you already used the pack a punch machine? Or are those Crystals supposed to be a substitute for the PaP Machine?
Aetherium Crystals are acquisitions that can be used in-game to immediately PAP a weapon to the corresponding level (Rare: PAP 1 | Epic: PAP 2 | Legendary: PAP 3).
If you locate/obtain a crystal and exfil with it you can choose to store it or bring it with you in your next session. Upon loading into your next session you can choose to immediately use it on a desired weapon or continue holding onto it. Don't lose it!
