Hi everyone!
This is my first post on reddit but I've been reading and learning here for some time so thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I am a PVP player solo on official PS4 EU and I just started on a server that has a gigantic wall with spikes on its top that goes from east to west blocking access to the "noob" river (I consider myself a noob, not trying to be offensive).
The first time I tried to climb but the bleeding killed me; the second time I looked for an alternative and got in through a gap that had decayed. So I'm in and it looks that this wall belongs to the "alpha" clan, they have a lot of spaming (foundations, vaults and temples) throughout the territory.
I've seen worst, but this wall... this friendly welcoming wall.... I want to take it down.
I thought about farming explosives and blow them in chain reaction, but I found a video of a player who used the trebuchet just fine. I don't have much experience in raids so what do you think it's best / fastest?
The wall is made of T1 foundations.
I'm not sure to understand 100% the mechanics of trebuchet. Anyone know any updated guide about it's use?
I also thought about orbs, but then read that the statistics changed and are not as effective as they used + I need an alchemist, therefore more days, more risk and more structures. My idea was low-profile farming one day then blitz strike the next day ... then ... then wait for the Alpha clan to wipe me out.
Am I missing something else? May I consider others facts? Will the community consider this a toxic behavior? Should I better post this on Funcom forum?
If there's around any player who wishes to join me, I think a simultaneous strike from the oposite extremes east and west of the wall would be more effective.
Also would like to help other players that may be facing the same situation. EU timezone, but I can try on American servers, helping farming during low population periods and maybe join a couple of sessions for the attack. English isn't my mother tongue but I know the jargon, also speak french and spanish.
