[2019] Lag and freezing on PC

I'm new to the game, and about every 5 minutes, when my character is running, the game will start to lag and freeze. Occasionally, I'll be able to continue playing, before it inevitably happens again and I have to restart the game. I already tried reinstalling the game, updating all of my drivers, and messing with the settings, but nothing is working. If it helps, I have a Ryzen 5 2400g, RX 580, and 16gb ram. I don't have this issue in any other games, and I can play most games with high-ultra settings with good fps, but this game just keeps freezing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I've really enjoyed what I've played so far!
