[2020] [Xbox One] Can't access installed DLC

Hello, I’m having issues accessing purchased and installed DLC on Xbox One.

Even though the DLC is owned and installed I can neither unlock the necessary feats (even with max level / more than enough feat points / all prior feats unlocked) for crafting or spawn the items using the Admin controls.

I am very new to the game so it is possible I am missing / misunderstanding something.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as moving the game + DLC files between storage locations (Internal / External SSD)

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Alan,

I'm very sorry to hear you're having issues with the game. The feats for the DLC items are unlocked automatically when you have all the pre-requisites and the DLC is installed.

So once you're level 60 and have all the necessary feats unlocked you should automatically find the DLC recipes in the crafting window. There's no need to click "unlock" in the Feats screen.

Which DLC are you having trouble with? Are the feats completely missing from the crafting inventory?

The specific DLCs are the Derketo and Yamatai. The feats do not show in the crafting inventory, only in the Feats tab. Also the admin panel will not spawn the items which to me is indicative that the DLC may not be properly installed regardless of whether my console says it is.

I have tried to uninstall reinstall / move storage locations to no avail.

Unfortunately I will be at work until around 4:30pm CST so I cannot get on and mess around to further experiment at this time.

I will perform any method or fix strategies as soon as I am available however.

Edit: my current char is not level 60 so if that is necessary to use the DLC that may be the issue.

You need to be lvl 60 to unlock the crafting recipes, but even if you don't meet the level requirement you should still be able to spawn in the items in the DLC pack.

Which console are you playing on?

It may be a software or DLC install issue on Microsoft's end because I am finding that the Derketo DLC isn't actually installing when I try to install it.

It says "installed" until I close the "manage game" page and then when I revisit it shows as "ready to install" rather than "installed."

Hmm, that's odd. Let me try DMing you a key for that particular DLC and see if that helps.
