Alright, that’s enough.
This echo chamber of toxicity needs to stop.
There’s some of you that seem to just come to the forums to engage in what is no longer a healthy conversation. No matter the context, no matter the conversation, it always boils down to the same dialogue.
Regarding the topic of buildings in official servers, it is a topic that has been widely discussed.
Ultimately, it’s understandable that the rules set in place in those servers are not to the liking of everyone, but remember once again that official servers are a free service provided to everyone. The game offers a wide array of settings customizable for those who want to create their own rules, their own style of play. But for official servers there is a limit. It may come as arbitrary especially to those affected by moderating action, but we are working towards making those limits more understandable and readable.
Ultimately, there will be rules that will limit the sandbox experience in order to keep the server resources available to other players who wish to join official servers. The same way that private servers, where the majority of our playerbase chooses to play, also have their own set of rules.
The feedback lines are open, and have been open. However some of you have been taking this as a free card for non stop non-constructive and hostile dialogue here in the forums. Towards us, towards other players, and sometimes towards the wind. Proper conversation and valid points are diluted and overtaken with a barrage of attacks and pointing fingers at every single direction.
This is unsustainable and it has to stop. It leads to absolute nowhere.
