[2020] The subpar support of MY.GAMES

Hi there, so I've been banned from conquerors blade discord(EU) since last year (been 6 months+)and didn't try to get back to the discord since then. Fast forward this month, I started playing the game again and wanted to get back so I reached out to support. And their support was well, not helpful.

At first, they tell me it is out of their jurisdiction then after further questioning, they ask me to contact one of the community managers which I DO but its been more than a week and CM has yet respond to my messages. Growing impatient I contact support again and they tell me to contact this other community manager, whom i fail to contact (note all of this is through discord and they don't provide me any email). I fail to establish contact with this other community manager, probably because he has "receive friend request from strangers off" and get back to support about this with a screenshot of discord not allowing me to contact the CM. And you know what support says? They tell me straight "If you cannot send a PM to our community managers, this means that you cannot appeal your suspension".

So what now? Is it my fault that the first CM won't reply to me and the second one's unreachable? .I'm just baffled at their support service. And honestly speaking I am now afraid of replying in fear of getting permanently banned by some guy at support who's had a bad day. So now why am I posting this here? Posting this in the hopes that someone of proper authority may see this and also let the other players know how subpar their support is.

Also to clear some questions you may have, I was warned 4 times prior to my ban. First, two of those were for my inappropriate names,3rd one was because I posted a picture without blurring player names which can be considered name shaming under certain contexts. And the final nail came in because I wrote: "can we have more blood and corpses lying on the ground" in discord. Now as much as I would like to say otherwise I did break the rules and got what I deserved period. That said I feel like I deserve a second chance and have suffered enough.

edit: The final warning came with the "name shaming", "can we have more blood and corpses lying on the ground" came in as the 3rd. Sorry for the confusion

Edit2: My first name was (Negromancer) which was my current ingame name. Second name was (My.comisbad).

Edit3: Thanks for helping bring this enough attention, got in touch with a CM so problem solved.

Hi there, North American CM here. Were you banned from the game or Discord? Or perhaps both? We CMs don't really have any control over in-game bans, but it is something that can be discussed with support. Sometimes they are willing to appeal the ban if a good amount of time has passed...of course, it also depends on the severity of the ban.

As for Discord, that is primarily the CMs domain. Normally we do not appeal bans on Discord, as multiple warnings are considered multiple chances to correct your behavior before a ban occurs. I'm happy to listen to your case, but I can't make any assurances about overturning the ban.

I'm sorry to hear you find us useless, but on another note; it is against our Code of Conduct to create an alternate account in an attempt to circumvent disciplinary action.

I'm fairly new to the CM team, but if you were banned for anything in regards to "WereRabbits" it was probably for spamming the channel after being asked not to. I doubt it was simply for saying that one thing.

No, you won't be banned for simply saying "I want more violence in the game". Feedback is not met with bans. Now if you are disrespectful with your feedback in some way then you'll most likely get a warning...Asking a player to create an account just to see if he will get banned isn't really helping your case for an appeal...

you are right on the first part, he isnt entitled to shit, about the second part lets not kid ourselves, we KNOW support service can be shit, there is plenty of posts and complains about it, i know that by first hand aswell, some very inept,degenerate and/or abusive people are sitting on the moderation position there at CB headquarters and paying customers get a taste of it at least once a week

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "degenerate and abusive", but the moderation team on Discord aren't employees. They are players who have volunteered their time to help with CB communications, engagement, and reporting. They are required to provide receipts when disciplinary action occurs in any form. This is to ensure that moderation powers are not abused. If you feel you were punished unfairly, you can always reach out to a CM to review it.

You said CMs though? It's not something we go out of our way to police, or really can, as you said. But if an alt account is confirmed, it will be removed.

Solved? There is no case. He was banned from Discord and wishes to appeal the ban. I told him I'd hear him out. Do you have a problem you feel hasn't been addressed? Feel free to message me on Discord. That's what it is there for. I'm always around to respond on Discord during my work hours.
