Hey there Warlords. There was an earlier post regarding questions asked about certain actions that could be considered a punishable offense. I would like to post a more fleshed out response to these questions after having discussed with the rest of the Community Team:

* Is it ok to trade fiefs with your allies?

- No, this is not okay.

* Is it ok to hide inside a field camp by clicking past it than on it to stay exactly inside it?

- This isn't cool to do, but it is not a bannable offense.

* Is it ok to avoid pursuit by alt+f4ing away?

- This isn't cool, but it is not a bannable offense at this time. The community team has passed over feedback to our team about this internally and this may change in the future.

* Is it ok to avoid pursuit by switching lines?

- This is okay and not a bannable offense.

* Is it ok to attack your own house with an alternative house?

- This isn't okay and is a bannable offense.

* Is it ok to jump on roofs or places in-game where it's hard for others to catch you? what determines such an object? is jumping on top of a wooden box which makes it hard for melees to hit you allowed?

- It depends on the circumstance. If a player gets there by glitching or using exploits then it is not okay, each case will be dealt with individually. If a player gets there by normal means (jumping, etc.) then it is fine.

* Is it ok to slot block? Well we got the answer for that now

- Definitely not okay, this is a bannable offense.

* Is it ok to use a bug if it's not fixed?

- Depends on the bug. This will be discussed with the team and support on an individual basis, please report such bugs to our Support team so the case can be investigated.

* Scale down walls with your horse or hero since it's technically not intended?

- This has been reported to the developers and is being investigated, but it is not a bannable offense.

* Cancel your ultimate as a DB or Poleaxe?

- This is not a bannable offense.

* Have your units shoot through walls on maps where collision is broken?

- Like with other bugs, this is dealt with on an individual case by case basis. Please report such abuse to support, our focus would be on fixing the issue rather than issuing punishment.

* Use a broken ability such as when the pavise had the machine gun bug?

- Same as above.

Hopefully, this adds a little more clarification for you all. If you have further questions don't hesitate to reach out. Thanks!

1 house in EU1 just migratred and left all fiefs undefended, most got taken by enemies but if one gets taken by 1 ally is it bannable?

if the House is "defending" the fief and has another house join the other line, that would be considered fief trading.

So I'd say if the fief is undefended, it doesn't matter, as they aren't blocking anyone

Are technical solutions being discussed with the developers?

Edit: I forgot thanking you for reaching out to us here, thanks!

They are, yes. Situations like slotlocking are a bit complicated though and will take time to figure out options.

thats slot locking, not fief trading

My understanding of Fief Trading is when a House has just a couple of people in the defending side and 1 or 2 people in the attacking side and passes over ownership by losing the battle. Am I incorrect?

Thank you all for your questions! I'd like to answer as many as I can, but I am hesitant to do so until I've had a chance to go through them with support. I'll plan to do so and answer more questions tomorrow 🙂
