I think this is a common thing now
Basically, I believe it’s supposed to drop when someone breaks the head during Aethercharge, but you get some people who get it by breaking the tail during Aethercharge, or some people who don’t get it even if you did one or both options.
What are your guys experiences with it?
External link →If that makes you any feel better, I also just spent two hours trying to figure out why I wouldn't get the drop on Twilight's Sanctuary. We've now figured out what happened though, and it will be fixed in 1.8.3!
In the meantime, to set the record straight, you can get the Shadow Scythe rumour token by breaking either the head or the tail of an aether charged Bloodshot Shrowd, but on Blazeworks only.

We spent hours in twilight trying to get this. Nothing. Few hours in Blazeworks and we still can't get the shrowd to show up.
Yeah that's RNG for you... I also spent a full hour on Blazework last night after the Twilight debacle, killed 20+ Behemoths, and not a single Shrowd either. 😭
U realized reloading the map is faster than killing Behe right? LMAO
It is if all you want is that specific Behemoth, that is true!
I'm a sucker for optimization and efficiency, so even if it takes longer to do that specific objective, at least that time is spent getting XP / resources / events rewards, versus spending it in loading screens.
