I took a 2 - 3 month break after the "reforged" release and came back to much longer Escalation queues, far less people in Ramsgate and empty islands, more or less.
I've done everything, for the most part, besides get really sweaty on that "The Dauntless" title, got the gold crown whatever, there's nothing to do to begin with for me, in the way that I play.
So tl;dr, is this game dead?

Sorry that you feel this way. We've been focusing on a lot of quality of life stuff lately and listening to player feedback (level requirements, solo queues, etc.)
We have a bunch of stuff being worked on right now and we can't wait to get it out. We're especially excited about the Radiant content. Radiant will roll out over various patches. This means new content regularly instead of one big patch and then having to wait.
We're nowhere near done with Dauntless, and there's a ton of content incoming.
