[2019] This new patch is FANTASTIC.

I’ve literally been playing it since it dropped and I’m loving it! Already well into the hunt pass and waist deep in my newfound fear of being eaten and thrown around like a rag doll by dragons.

The GUI and HUD improvements alone made me giddy when I first logged in (I especially love being able to see the quest window and health stats).

Mal is a total badass. I don’t know whether I should really be thanking you all for that, but here I am.

I love that the lantern is now more of a fixture in our loadout(I’m still calling it a loadout, even though the menu says equipment now)

The quick chat is such a blessing!! I usually find it pretty useless in most games, but y’all did a great job. I played on PC for the longest time, until my gaming computer broke down on me and I didn’t have the money or the time to fix it. Practically all I wanted to do was play Dauntless for MONTHS until it came out on console, and even playing on console, one of the things I missed the most was being able to type/chat (without a mic) with other players. Trying to type, even with my keyboard, is excruciating on console, especially on the hunt. Now I can give quick commands without having to slow down at all.

WE NO LONGER HAVE TO SCROLL THROUGH OUR PERKS/EQUIPS TO GET TO OUR CONSUMABLES. I can’t even express how happy this made me, especially since it’s driven me absolutely mad every time I’m in my loadout(equipment?). I always forget to say anything, but now I don’t even have to!! Now all that’s left is for the next patch to stop the consumables from different loadout from disappearing when I edit/switch between them.

Once again, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK DAUNTLESS TEAM! This patch has really paid off!!
