The new logo doesn’t look bad especially if it’s just on the site or a banner on YT or Twitter. But for the game it just scream a “Phoenix rising from the ashes” like the original one does.

External link →Exactly my point. If it was me, I would’ve went even farther with the animation.
I’m not trying to sound like a d!ck about the logo but it’s just not there for me.
Think of it this way, the 1978 Pontiac Firebird had a Phoenix on the hood and it looked like a Phoenix. Would it look as good if it was a lit match stick? 🫤
I would’ve went all out and had even more animation for the intro. 🤷♀️

No offense meant, just curious: why would you already launch the new logo in the game when there's not even an animation for it yet? Couldn't it wait until it got its own animation?

Brand cohesion and rolling out the new logo across the board was the priority in this case, and this new intro, while I agree is pretty flat and a bit bland, is more than good enough for a temporary replacement. 😊
