[2022] Does reporting intentional afk farming do anything?

I started playing this game 2 weeks ago and have about 30 hours in it by now and I've come across 3 players afk farming in escalations. I reported them but before I keep taking time out of my session to report people I was wondering if this is punishable or if rules are enforced at all in this game.
