Alright experienced players… please don’t roast me.
My 3 month review.
I’ve been playing dauntless for 3 months now mainly just on the weekends. As a former gamer in my teens I’ve played most mmo games from RuneScape, to guild wars, to WoW and enjoyed every second. Im now 28 and with kids of my own they want Nintendo switches so naturally I found some games I wanted to play too.
Dauntless has by far been one of the most confusing game styles that I’ve tried to learn. Between weapons and armor reforging, omicells, and attribute cells it’s left me searching YouTube more times than I’ve wanted too. Even with the string of early learning quest that in my opinion weren’t very helpful. I’ve watched so many videos telling me the best cells or the best builds but I’m lost when trying to figure out how to acquire the cells in the first place. For example: overpower cells are the most talked about. Why in 3 months have I still now come across one?
Anyways, I’m not giving up. I know it’s part of the challenge but I’m just saying… if I was asked, the game focuses too much on the tiny attribute details that over complicate it when they should be expanding the game more to pull more attention. Like why is there only one city?
I’m done, back to grinding away.
