[2021] No other player in the map

hello everyone, I just started to pick up this game with my other friends, sometime we play together, or sometime Im just by myself. But then I have an issue that whenever I go into a hunting ground solo, there is no other player in the map, and this makes it harder for me to do the event island, or if I need to level up the weapon exp by quickly hunting monster. But for my friend case, they said that they always found other players in their map, and even in Ramsgate they can see lots of other player, while for me Im just by myself.

So I wondering if this is a bug or some setting on my end, if you can give some advice about this, it will be appreciated. I'm playing on PS5. thanks in advance
