External link →We have seen audio breaking recently but couldn't get a repro case, it seemed random. I haven't seen this at all on PC. I'm getting the feeling this may be PS4 (or both consoles) only. Can you confirm your platform please.

EDIT - We tracked it down, definitely console only. The fix is in and will be in the next update.
ps4, restarting the game fixed it for me, havent encountered it since.
Interesting. I would be curious if this is the case. I would expect that there's a low % chance of audio breaking and so each time you start up the game it's a dice roll as to whether it'll break. If it only breaks the first time, that would be... interesting.

So when will this next update be? This bug is quite annoying.
I know :( We're pushing hard to get the next update out asap, but obviously we need to balance that with not making things WORSE by putting out an update with other bugs. I think they're in the final stages of packing it now, so it should be in the next day or so... but don't quote me on that, things change fast and I'm not actively part of the update pipeline. Hopefully sooner rather than later though!
