I heard that the rumour was bugged but ever since I havn't heard a single person talk about it. It isn't listed on the bugtracker either and I tried about every single aether/rage combination on each part but still didn't get it.

External link →I believe this was fixed in 1.7.1. If that isn't the case, let me know!
EDIT: The helmet rumour is not out. The breastplate had a bug in the quest requirements BUT it was fixed.
