Welcome to the Bugs Megathread where you can report bugs that you encountered while playing Dauntless. With every patch, comes with unforeseen bugs that can find their way onto our airships and into gameplay. To avoid flooding the subreddit with similar issues, we are collecting all bug reports in this megathread to consolidated incoming reports. This will be the place to post all bug reports until a new Bugs Megathread is made. This is to provide both the developers and the community a thread focused solely on bugs.

Prerequisites before reporting a bug

  1. Provide screenshots or a videos capturing the bug if possible. This would help the devs validate the bug report
  2. Give as much information as you can. This helps the devs recreate bugs on their end and discover if the issue is localized to specific
  3. Knowing the session ID in which a particular bug occurred in would help as well.

How to Format your Bug

  • In-Game Name:
  • Type of Bug: Behemoth, Weapon, Gear, Performance, Cosmetic / Visual, etc.
  • Expected behavior: What were you expecting to have happen?
  • Actual behavior: What did you see happen?
  • Screenshot/Clip: Provide a video or screenshot of this bug happening.
  • Reproduction Rate/Steps: Are you able to reproduce this bug? How often does this bug occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)
  • System Specs: Internet speed Operating System, CPU, GPU, Internet speed, or Console.
  • Geographic location: Provided this so we can track which server you are connected too.
  • Session ID: (Optional). For bugs that occurred in a particular session/s.

Every comment might not be addressed, but rest assured that the devs go through every single post. Before commenting, please aim to upvote comments that are the same or similar to an issue you have experienced in-case someone else has already posted.

Hi there! The icon design for the crown was outdated in the slayer's path, we're working on getting this resolved in an upcoming patch.

The quest specifies for the Rumor Progenitor Dye that you need to slay 10 Razorwing Kharabaks, but the marker shows up on Fortunes Folly where only the regular Kharabak spawns.

Hey there! The icon is the issue here and was something we missed during development. The icon will be fixed in 1.7.3. The Malkarion Crown in game (not the icon) is visually correct.

It was a mistake and we did not intend to confuse anyone! Thank you for bringing it to our attention :) I've seen reports of this elsewhere too but this thread for me is very helpful.

Actual behaviour: After I finished the quest there was no reward in my inventory (even though it showed that I got it on the down left side). After I completed the necessary materials for the barrage grenade quest and made the grenade the quest don't go away for the quest tab.
Screenshot/Clip: Unfortunately Reddit doesn't allow me to upload a video of it for some reason...
Reproduction Rate/Steps: I can't reproduce the bug for the poncho because I don't have the quest anymore. I can reproduce the Barrage Grenade quest bug easily.
System Specs: CPU: Intel i7-8750H GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX1070 Max-Q Internet speed: 88mbps.
Geographic location: I'm playing from east Europe.

I'm having folks investigate your account here and see what's going on. Please reach out to Player Support as well for extra support on this :)

If anyone else is experiencing issues like this, please contact Player Support! Feel free to post here as well - it is useful for me to have awareness on how many people this could be affecting :)

Hey there :) Do you notice if the icon isn't appearing if you already have a bunch of icons up on display? No worries if not but I just wanted to check an assumption I have on what the issue could be. We'll still investigate on our side!

About the Barrage quest issue. Do you have a screenshot? The quest you're referring to shouldn't be in the game anymore.

To expand, it seems that buying the Arcslayer package after having bought a 30 day Slayers Club pass ingame, removed my 30 day pass and replaced it with the 3 days that came with the arcslayer package. It would be nice to have my pass reinstated.

Got your in-game name, but do write in to support and they will grant your time back if I'm slower.
