I have noticed that there is a Radiant Escalation in the Roadmap wich brings me to a question: will we get a 2. Radiant Legendary behemoth? I mean it would be cool but it would also mean that there are less weapons available to bond with (still just Rizakiri and Valomyr). But bringing the Chronovore into a Escalation would make him easier than he is now due to the Amps so i guess noone would hunt him on his island anymore. What do you think? Any information i missed?

Hiya, I'm the designer for Radiant (and Frost, and much of the content in past escalations). The current plan of record is that Chronovore will move to Radiant Escalation as the keystone, and will be removed from Paradox Breaks.

We're still firming up plans for updating Paradox at that time, but it is likely that the new Radiant Behemoth we suggested is coming will also make Paradox its home.

This does mean that we are not planning a new radiant legendary to go with Radiant Escalation, and this is more about completing the cycle.

What will happen to the awesome temple in Paradox? Maybe it can host some other kind of event? And what will happen to the Chronostones we have collected? Just straight up removing the Temporal Anomaly event sounds like a massive change, and one that would require a bit more preparation and balancing than just "yeet".

Rough thinking right now is that there will still be a Chronostone event, that will cost less stones, and be focused around the newer upcoming Radiant Behemoth.

Wait what? But we already seen and adapted to the chronovore and built its weapons and armor, there won't be any reason to play the radiant escalation!

That's generally the expectation right now. We simply don't have the bandwidth in Behemoth Designers to make a new keystone at this time, and the tradeoff to do so would cost us more normal behemoths. Additionally when evaluating our time between a new Radiant Omnicell, and a second Legendary, we opted to spend that time and energy on the Omnicell, and we think you're going to love what it is.

I've been thinking very hard about reasons to play Radiant escalation, it's definitely a problem top of my mind in understanding it's purpose within Dauntless. For many though, there's also just a desire to complete the set, to have a full suite of Escalations. There are still many questions to answer, but we're early in the process.
