I have seen a lot of discussion about this, and a lot of assertions about the system being worse than before. And since every conversation can be improved with numbers, I calculated a few things.
Keep in mind that some of the bounties have ridiculous completion expectations now -- those should be taken into account when deciding if you want to upgrade a bounty.
As for the 7:2:1 ratio of Bronze, Silver, and Gold bounties, that is approximate from some old data I collected and showed around Reddit some two years ago. Can't guarantee it is still the same.
