[2021] How popular is Dauntless? I really don’t want the game to shut down anytime soon.

Hey guys. So basically I am trying to find out how many active players are in this game.

I am seeing the same people a lot in hunting grounds and that’s very strange because the game is supposed to have millions of players according to “gamestat”.

Dauntless Subreddit is very small comparing to other games. It also doesn’t have any other active forums as well. Dauntless is pretty much nonexistent in asian countries and many people play MH games over there.

I enjoy this game very much and I want to see it to succeed. I am really hoping that Phoenix Labs has plans to extend support to China/HK/Taiwan, Korea and SEA coz now they are in partnership with Garena.

Reforged update is not bad at all because I can’t imagine waiting long time to load up a map just to kill 1 behemoth. Co-op is also the way to go because playing alone gets very boring quickly. You can still solo escalations and it’s pretty fun too. The hunting grounds makes me feel like a “god” and it’s so damn fun lol.

I think the developers need to add more behemoths and release the game internationally. Variants is not a problem as long as they have some new moves.

Edit: I tried Dauntless on PC for the first time yesterday and I encountered many bugs over there. Blurry graphics, full screen bugs, etc. I was able to fixed the issues but that may force some new players to quit before they even give the game a chance.
