Hello there, not my own post but a global initiative from some french Slayers. (We are all really involved in the game and community and we wanted to comment the state of the game and send a message to PHXL). The authors are :

• Pat Patrouille

Kahinh will be the writer (and so the “I”), but ideas come from everyone.

First of all, let us tell you that we really love the game. And we all have more than 40 days played. We just want to bring some lights onto the French Community and send a message/ask some questions to PHXL. If this message will have the chance to end into their Reddit Feed.

French Community

So, the topic is: “What about other languages communities?”I will share some things with you.

As I said we have:

• also, we organize events/contents for our community, and that’s also a lot of work. (Won’t get into details about that but if needed i can)

In the French community, there is a some really dedicated players that are involved daily in the game, pushing its limits and giving some of the best gameplays we can find. One of them is "Mc.Gros":

• he is 80% of the time in the top 5/top 10 of the trials
• he also has a Youtube channel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIYRUvFWjdA

We also have other good content creators and by good, I/we talk about the accuracy of the content they give, as well as their knowledge of the game in general.

Our Discord is also a good point of contact for translators to bring up game-bugs and translations mistakes, inconsistencies etc.

There is also other languages communities, such as Italian, German… that also contribute to share the game across the world.

There is a lot of people involved in the French Community of Dauntless, spending time/hours to help new Slayers and old Slayers to meet and slay together.

The official discord is of course the main point of resources and new for every Slayer, but we have many players than don't fully understand english and also want to play with people talking the same language.

Now that’s said, I wanted to share 2 things about that :

As a Dauntless community and content creators, we work to keep our community entertained, to keep Slayers playing with events and streams. We are also an important point of contact for french Slayers (as we already mentioned, not everyone is fluent in english and a french community is a great way to get explanations and content in french as well as finding french speaking mates).

As far as we know, PhoenixLabs is not in direct contact with such communities. Is there any plan to promote/help other languages communities? That would be really awesome and helpful, we want to share the game as much as we can!

Here is some of the things we already did:

Events:

• Full night stream on the release of the blaze escalation, giving our first impressions
• Valentine’s event, Slayers had to get in couples to slay Behemoths together, answering questions etc.
• Christmas event, a Dauntless knowledge event of 24 days with new questions on the game everyday
• We also have a FashionSlayer channel that is quite active, and we make Fashion events from time to time.

Content:

• Builds in French
• English to French cell list
• English to French Behemoth drops, with the way to obtain them
• Trials history with builds
• Patch analysis streams and videos
• Gameplay videos on specific builds

The main point of this post is a waving hand, to show you, PhoenixLabs, that your community is all over the world and that we are also involved and willing to make content, share the game and make the Dauntless community even healthier.
