Correct me if I'm wrong but devs said they're re-introducing them with a no rng way this time and I'm a new player I want to have them, I got everything right except prismatic resonator which drives me crazy I opened so many chests I got 0 while my friend got all of em. So you basically still need rng to complete rumours which makes it frustrating.

We're looking into this feature right now and plan on tuning it so it feels better in the future.
Right now, the system only allows you to hold 1 of the resonator in your inventory at a time. This is so you tackle each rumour as you get them and only receive these when you have one you're working on. The intent was to avoid confusion, but it has definitely caused more.
We're upping the amount you can hold to 5 so you can collect enough to tackle all of these dye rumours at once. We'll also likely change how we approach situations like this due to it being hard to convey without a player-facing inventory.
