Hey there! I noticed this in the Tempest active ability - “For every 1% increase in movement speed, deal +5% damage to unbroken parts.” Does this also apply to increased movement speed from mobility cells (i.e. Grace), or solely the movement speed increases accrued by the Tempest omnicell?

Total movement speed from all sources. Gotta go fast!

I'd like to ask some clarification on the omnicell/s Windfurry/Tempest.

  1. It says that it increases attack to unbroken parts by 5% for every 1% movement speed buff, but does this mean that it is strictly part damage?
  2. Since this is an active ability, does this only affect the actual active ability with the use of velocity? To explain a bit more, if it procs before or after we utilize the stack.
  3. Is this cells ability affected by any movment speed cap, and if so, what is the max mvoment speed you can achieve with both this omnicells passive and other speed increasing cells?
  4. Is this move still an escape type ability that can dash out of attacks/abilities?
  5. Finally, since this is quite different than Windfurry that was trading off all cells with movement cells and compensating attack (which a lot said needed buffing from what I remember) is Windfurry possibly coming as another cell later or is this the sole change and Windfurry as it was is no longer coming at all?
  1. I believe the move speed affects total damage on the ability and not just on broken parts.
  2. Unsure what you mean
  3. There is no move speed cap and the ability is affected by all move speed bonuses.
  4. You can dash out of the way but there are no iFrames on this dash.
  5. This is the updated Windfury

  1. The ability does have to be on an unbroken part for the full benefit, but it deals core damage to that part.
  2. It looks like the velocity stack is used immediately when you tap for the ability, so I'm guessing it does not carry itself into the attack.
  3. No movespeed cap, however Grace does not work with it, as it converts movespeed to attack speed the moment you stop sprinting. Unsure if Swift works with it or not. To achieve otherwise max movespeed for the ability though, it will be in Frost Escalation due to the passive choices.

Thanks for the clarification!
