Good news! We're eradicating crystals so it will be just one currency going forward.
It's clever propaganda. They were always going to remove one. It obviously didn't make sense. It looks better for them in the long run to do this. If no one barked, they would've kept it, naturally it would've forced more microtransactions. Either way its a win win for them.
It isn't conspiracy its a common tactic in the business world. Propose an idea where you come out ahead regardless of the outcome.
Trust me, it's much better to launch with a healthy system that players enjoy than have to undo our mistakes.
We want players to be happy when they get a new content drop. The fact that this topic has overshadowed our wound, pike, trials, and HG work is not the way we wanted it to go.
This was not the intended course, and we want to improve these systems so players are happy :)
