I can't for the life of me understand whether this is a bug or a feature, but with the hammer, it seems to default into the longest combo possible after I roll. On top of that, the "bread and butter" combo also feels rather unreliable, since most of the time I try to pull it off the slayer just ends up going for the long combo instead. I remember it not being so janky previously (back during terra escalation).
Is this all just general bugginess, or is this intended? I like the theme of the hammer, but I can't for the life of me get used to the low reliability of the combos.
Edit: Upon further experimentation, it seems like the problem is as follows;
-Previously you could input your forward move at any point during the first swing and as long as you held it, you would proceed to perform the repeating uppercuts
-Now, you can only input the forward movement at the very end of the animation of the first swing, otherwise the combo will continue into the horizontal hammers.
I hope this is a bug because otherwise, this would mean an increase to the skill floor of an already complex weapon, and that seems like an odd decision
