Too easy
Any endgame player would relate to behemoths dying too fast to be fun to deal with. Sometimes they even remain stunlocked 80% of the fight. At some point many of the players learn to dodge 90%+ attacks behemoth does so they can run pure damage builds to grind faster.
Too hard
New players would relate to how much time they need to spend in hunting grounds being just undergeared or underskilled to beat behemoths +5 of your level to get max exp amount. While endgame players with their 15% exp boost and overpowered builds giving them ability to quickly deal with 5 levels higher behemoths they level up nearly 3-4 times faster than newbies who fail most events. Currently how close your cells to +3 and +6 is very important factor for how long fights take. Without them the grind is very slow. Except grinding levels there's not much to do instead of leeching escalations.
Imperfect grind
Looks like PHXL wanted to find perfect spot for exp grind speed between end game and early game and they did find it.
Behemoths dying too fast would be not satisfying end game players.
Behemoths being very difficult would be not satisfying for early game playes.
They found perfect middleground where both sides aren't satisfied.
New players struggle, some give up. Old players atomize behemoths in less than 30 seconds sometimes. It's frustrating for one side and tedious for another.
Why is grind like this?
Seems like behemoths are weak enough for weak players to even get past through any and exp is low enough so quick killing old players won't level up too fast.
I blame cells
Without set full of good cells players are super weak. With them they're very strong. This strength gap they provide makes it probably impossible to make the grind satisfying.
I'm not suggesting anything but I just wanted to share what I feel the game is standing on.
