Dauntless is an open-world game developed by Phoenix Labs. In the game, you are one of the residents of the Shattered Isles, or to be specific, Ramsgate, although it is hardly a city and more of a tiny community hub, and safe to assume you probably sleep on the floor since there are no visible homes. You are flat-out broke and rely on a diet of aether dust and random plants. Before you plant your sword onto the ground and go get a real job instead of beating the sh*t out of things like a mad hobo please let me finish. Your “job” currently is to slay the native inhabitants of Twitter called behemoths. You can craft weapons from their skin and use their own tail as a spear and shove it where the sun don’t shine. You can also craft clothes from your money so instead of spending them to live a normal life you choose to walk around dressed like a clown. You’re a hobo with anger issues but at least you got drip. There are various ways you can trigger PETA in this game, including controller erosion, Draven, brick on a stick, vasectomy, helicopter, kung fu, and coward. Behemoths on this series of islands have mastered various elements despite their obvious lack of any brain cells, such as fire or ice. They have various tricks up their sleeveless sleeves, including ranged shots, melee attacks and f*cking bullsh*t. You face tougher and tougher behemoths throughout the game, although none of them makes sense. Bad luck slayer, may all odds be against you.
