Why can you be in a hunt with more than 4 people, yet hunting parties are restricted to 4 people? It sucks that you're able to play with extra randoms but we have to leave friends out who want to play this game, but ultimately wont because of this arbitrary restriction.
External link →The answer is that the structure of a party is cooked very deep into the game systems, so making it have a variable size dependent on whatever mode you want to play requires some deeper rewriting.
This was brought up in the past and it wasn't explained as "we won't do it" but more so "we didn't want to wait with releasing the changes that much". I understand that this is very much on the table, if priorities allow.

We would love to up the party size, but we didn't have the time and resources to get this in with 1.5.0. We would love to get this in in the future when we find time to prioritize it.
