I know a lot of people would say that would be just copying off monster hunter world, but is that really a bad thing? I know that there are people who complain when someone tries to suggest a feature from monster be added to Dauntless. And I get it, after all. The whole point of dauntless is to be its own game not just a rip-off of monster hunter. but hear me out. As I see it both games are in the same genre and plenty of other games have bestiary outside of monster hunter. Dauntless already kinda has a bestiary for behemoths so what the harm. I know the game doesn't really need it but as a lore junkie, I just eat that stuff up and would really appreciate it. so here's hoping the devs like the idea.

Good idea! I'll pass this on to the team that works on Journal entries.

Definitely something under strong consideration right now!
What type of information would you most like to see in a fauna Journal entry?
Speaking more generally, are there other things you don't see in the Journal that you'd expect to be there, in any section?

Castlevania is over 20 years old and it had it's own bestiary too. So MHW copied this off Castlevania? Meh, tbh, bestiary should be as common as a pants pocket.

I'm into any knowledge within the game itself.

Wait'll you hear about Carl Linnaeus. Old-timey natural philosophers without an organized taxonomic system HATE practtically WORSHIP him! :D
