How often are you fighting a big behemoth and all you can see is their giant thigh in your face?

How often can you not see when they're about to attack because their giant unclipped toenails are in the middle of your camera?

It's just annoying. In a game that uses the unreal engine, I'd expect the FOV slider to be working, or atleast if it's not working atleast address the issue and give some sort of timeframe for us.

Heya!

I wanted to chime in and let you guys know about what we've been working on to address this issue in an upcoming patch. Currently what happens when you're quite close to a behemoth that may also be close to camera, is the camera actually pushes in to try to get out of the way of the limbs. This is not ideal as it can seem like it's just "zooming" in on the limb. An FOV slider (in this specific case) would not help as the camera is still in the same spot and would end up still pushing forward.

What we've been testing is having the camera actually pull further out to give you a better view of where you are. The distance will also change based on size. For example, if you're under a Pangar tail it'll move further than if you're next to a leg. So far in our testing this has been feeling a lot better!

While this solution has been working a lot better, it's not perfect, and we're continuing to see what other parameters we can tune to make sure you never get lost or have your view obscured in the heat of combat. We will be actively checking feedback on this when it does go live!
