@iOdin_Xbox We would need a bit more detail than that. How far was the shooter away, where in relation to the two of you were the infected and what did you do?

@boss_dayz Sadly it does not work that easy because items can be transferred between servers. Additionally we would need constant ID checks across all servers and players, which would massively impact performance.

@iOdin_Xbox So you were probably in a distance where the shots themselves were fading out, but the impact sound was still very loud, keeping the infected there.There were probably other infected on the way to the shooter, but those close to you reacted to the impact sound of the bullets.

@ItzMikeDocherty We want to have dead bodies to persist longer, but currently it affects performance too much, especially on servers focused on PVP. Dropping clothing would not help that issue, as the additional objects remain.

@TexasMadeEddie This is currently not working on Xbox, a fix will be provided with the next update.
