@CeaserSaled @zachriaul We have always manually banned players for using slurs, and we'll continue to. This filter is just an added layer of protection to prevent you from seeing it to begin with.

@0Rag4 It should most of the time. The system is very smart and is used to detecting all sorts of attempts to bypass it. Occasionally something may slip through, but our team is still going to be monitoring reports as we have been.

@sora_lyee We do. We already have a team of people reviewing reports each day. This is just an added layer of protection to make sure you don't have to see inappropriate comments to begin with. We'll still make sure they're taken care of afterwards.

@ImaDwight No. The intent is not to filter profanity. The filter checks the context of what you're saying to try and figure out if it's offensive before filtering it. There's obviously some things that are also never okay, regardless of context, though.

@Putitin9 We covered them on Monday: https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1361377984725331971 A fix is coming in the next patch. Adding this filter does not delay that fix at all, this is something that was worked on before the issues from 4.5.0 came to light.

@kkr685 Definitely something worth discussing. For now at least, the filter only removes the words. HOWEVER, we have a team of people who are already reviewing reports. They'll continue reviewing chat reports going forward and banning people as needed.
