1794s anniversary livestream last week it was
1796s absolutely insane I don't know if you
1799s guys saw but we we I don't know for you
1803s but I was stressed out and it showed is
1808s very different than this set up which we
1810s are very used to and it feels like we're
1812s you know just talking about the game
1814s really relaxed over there in front of
1817s 200 people live and 90,000 people on the
1825s internet watching from home that was
1827s absolutely absolutely insane it was
1829s really a crazy experience I hope you
1831s guys enjoyed it I really enjoyed it once
1835s it was done but okay so on this PTV went
1842s live this week on Tuesday or two days
1846s and there's already a lot of feedback so
1849s we're gonna address that a little later

1899s about Ghostface right away the ghost
1902s face face so I'm gonna start though by
1909s saying there's a known issue with
1911s graphics settings they cannot be changed
1914s in full-screen mode
1916s so there's a workaround for now before
1918s we can fix it you go in window mode to
1921s change the resolution and go back to
1922s full screen after so that's one things
1925s all right there it is Ghostface so as
1930s everyone know ptb lunch two days ago
1934s already a lot lots of feedback so Steph
1938s what was our objective with Ghost Face
1942s so it goes based obviously we wanted
1944s them estelle killer I think we have all
1946s the components to do so there are just
1948s been some things that haven't actually
1949s ironed out like we expected them to -
1951s obviously with each killer that we make
1955s ultimately we don't have it down to a
1957s science just yet finding there are
1959s specific power level and how strength
1960s how strong they'll be in though in live
1962s when everyone else is playing it is
1965s always a pleasant surprise depending on
1966s where it goes obviously but we're always
1968s looking towards this and trying to tweak
1970s things so there are some things that
1972s we're looking to address I'm gonna look
1974s at specifically feedback and what people
1976s have been saying to try to encompass
1978s what we've been hearing and so what
1983s specific feedback are we addressing on
1985s this one so right now canceling stealth
1988s is too easy as people have seen someone
1991s and so ever looks at the ghost face for
1993s one second he gets taken out of his
1995s power and his power wasn't cool down
1997s there is a bug with it at the moment so
1999s if you're already looking at ghost face
2002s before he goes into stealth that's
2004s counted as well so he got taken out of
2006s self right
2007s these things will be tweaked and fixed
2009s as we go forward
2010s stalking right now is not as efficient
2012s as we'd like it to be so the time it
2014s takes for you to expose somebody
2016s compared to how long how quickly they
2018s can get you out of stealth is it's not a
2021s nice balance right now yeah so we'll be
2025s addressing that as well and there was a
2027s lot of the feedback about audio
2029s specifically on Ghostface as well yeah I
2031s like popping in out of the power these
2033s are also things that we're gonna be
2035s tweaking I can't give you the exact
2037s changes that we're doing right now but
2038s we are testing it in-house and we're
2041s gonna give you more information when we
2043s know we'd love for you to be patient of
2045s course send your suggestions we're here
2047s to listen as well we want to have a
2050s great killer for everyone to enjoy and
2052s especially with someone like it goes to
2054s face so we don't know if that version
2058s will make it to the PT so the new one
2061s you're out worth testing right now yeah
2063s but these are changes that we want to
2066s make before their rings for sure so
2068s that's that's what we're gonna say on
2070s this one right now because to day after
2073s the release of PT B that's where we are

2079s to talk to us about changes to survivors
2084s hair yep so it's been an ongoing process
2088s so as you all know what the game was out
2090s for now three years since Friday so
2096s we've been through a lot of discussion
2098s and with all the updates for unreal we
2101s the engine the game engine so we're
2104s trying to take advantage of all the new
2106s technique rendering shading improvement
2109s they're providing us so this plus we're
2113s trying to adapt all the the shaders that
2117s kind of support it so yeah if we can
2122s check some image
2123s since I'm examples so Kate this is Kate
2126s how she I think that's the before yeah
2130s that's we can see that there are some
2134s really weird spots there so with the new
2139s approach we play with the physic the
2144s shader and we base our self on some
2147s techniques that are using newer games so
2149s we were trying to be on par with them
2151s and not have old tech so if we can
2155s switch to the so the resolution yeah so
2159s the reason we're showing this today is
2161s because a lot of people had a lot of
2162s questions on this so this is why we're
2164s taking the time here to explain it yeah
2166s and the remain goal is to make
2168s improvement and we're still listening to
2173s feedbacks even in a team so it's an
2176s ongoing process like I'm saying I was
2178s saying so yeah if we're checking Jake we
2182s can see that it's a bit harder to see
2184s because it's a darker hair but we can
2186s see that there's a better animation more
2190s the the mesh were optimized to we
2195s improve the attachment socket system so
2198s we can attach cosmetic on characters we
2205s this may be for some people doesn't mean
2209s anything but this is preventing some
2212s issue we have with the instability and
2213s the dynamic hair moving so we had some
2217s stretching at some point and you see
2219s like makes ponytails yeah crazy so uh
2224s and the thing to to remember it's we're
2228s fairly a small team so we're we have a
2230s lot of issue and to work on and
2233s different parts different areas so this
2238s one is very important to us so
2241s it's it's gonna it's taking a bit more
2243s time because people working on it's a
2245s fewer people than some other integer and
2248s it's a big task - it is a big - you
2253s think that it would be easy but it's one
2255s of the thing that is always hard to nail
2258s that first time even with Nia well if we
2261s look in the I think we did a pretty nice
2269s sorry
2271s yes and the other thing is also
2274s consistency so since there was different
2276s artists working on their hair there was
2279s some difference in between the quality
2282s so we're trying to standardize the
2284s process the pipeline and since we're
2288s making new cosmetic we need to be
2290s consistent in the look and the
2294s production pipeline so the older and
2297s newer hair or the same well not the same
2301s at the the same direction of process
2305s awesome and not all the hair is been
2307s touched so far right else is that this
2309s is a process we're going to go through
2310s yeah a bunch per release whatever yes
2312s yes ongoing but surely it's really
2317s important to us so there's to be
2318s expected for other hairstyle in the
2321s future as well alright well I know

2347s questions and it's starting with Freddie
2351s lots of ready questions I've start after
2353s the live stream last week we kind of
2356s brushed on you know the Freddie power
2359s and now people want more details of
2362s course it is so first question is
2364s Freddie losing the aura reading when the
2367s survivors are in the dream world so yes
2369s this was one
2371s the areas of frustration mostly because
2374s some survivors and particularly didn't
2376s know that their aura was being shown
2378s outside of the terror it is and they
2380s would get screwed by this quite often
2382s there were other ways that we could show
2384s the players that are there being
2385s revealed but we're not exploring that at
2387s the moment so he's no longer gonna happy
2389s or weenie well stars in the dream world
2390s it's part of the refactor he's gonna
2392s have other stuff instead so traps right
2395s just to remind people traps generator
2398s teleport passive sleep and wake up
2401s object and now for consistency a lot
2404s more dynamic its smacking people at all
2406s times
2409s all right other question will we lose
2414s all our Freddy add-ons when the rework
2416s goats live No so to start you able to
2419s keep all your add-ons you've amassed so
2421s far there might be changes in rarity
2423s this has happened already with the rate
2424s so for those of you who've been there
2426s since the Wraith has been reworked
2428s people were able to keep all of their
2429s add-ons and any add-ons that change
2431s rarity would change with it I think that
2433s was the I was it the clapper
2436s I got like super old oh sure air and
2438s like badass that people had a ton of
2440s them yep yeah so we might not be doing
2442s that again but things like that might
2444s happen so stack on on these add-ons well
2448s you never know
2449s don't tell me it's already it's already
2451s done it's already done I knew when I
2455s said it
2455s are we changing Freddy's perk with the
2459s rid the reroute reread that we wouldn't
2461s work yeah not the update at the moment
2464s there are no slated changes for Freddy's
2466s perks okay so if the perks stay the same
2469s so if you're using them on another
2471s character it should not impact anything
2472s no when Freddy is we rework will there
2478s be an indicator for him or when he is
2480s flickering during make microsleep so
2483s that it can take advantage of the
2484s flickers for mind games okay yeah so I
2488s was current Freddy can count during the
2490s dream transition to know when east
2492s flickering and use it to mine game or
2494s move sneakily but it doesn't seem like
2496s that will be possible in the rework so
2500s it will not be possible in the rework I

2523s bit hard to understand in that by
2525s daylight terms in a distance but you
2527s might get the hang of it if you're
2528s playing Myers for example in Myers has a
2530s 60 meter Terry isn't here to ultimately
2533s of that beyond that point the 32 meters
2535s you will be intermittent so getting
2537s behind things or coming out of nowhere
2538s will be quite surprising survivors but
2540s you will still not know exactly when
2543s you're visible for them no it's hard to
2545s tell the killer himself big because
2547s every survivor might be at different
2548s distances so you wouldn't know exactly
2550s who you're flickering for which isn't
2552s and we haven't found a way to do that
2554s just yet so it won't be there can we see
2558s the new add-ons or at least some of them
2561s today for yeah
2563s so I don't have any images but all the
2566s add-ons will be the same so like the
2567s jump rope we're just saying you're gonna
2569s have the will assured the green dress
2570s the blue dress so once a fourth but
2573s they're gonna have different effects
2574s every add-on has been changed so far so
2577s to give you just a few sneak peeks right
2580s now you'll be able to use an add-on to
2581s switch between snares and pallets in
2583s addition to that we'll still have an
2585s action speed slow down but only
2586s available through add-ons that will be
2588s the jump rope which in the chains of the
2591s chain in the different ropes but it will
2594s be at a lower amount so not 50% like it
2596s was before players found that quite
2598s frustrating as well just doing an m1
2599s action forever in addition to that you
2603s will have increased regression and or
2604s reading the service fail sabotage
2606s healing or repair scale checks and just
2609s as a little sneak peak the red
2611s paintbrush which is an ultra rare add-on
2612s for Freddy will be changed so that also
2615s ever start in the dream world and failed
2617s skill checks do not wake them up whoo
2619s that sounds really strong yeah it's an
2622s ultra rare it's not gonna be exposed but
2624s it should be quite interesting all the
2626s same so there was two other questions
2628s that came in from the chat today I'll
2631s will the dream master it
2633s even work out after the rework do you
2636s know that one which one it's a it's a
2640s question from the chapter okay I didn't
2642s see anything
2642s I didn't see it what that's a blind side
2645s of you okay yeah you repeat the
2646s questions so dream master achievement is
2649s it gonna be changed how is it though
2651s that's pulled two hundred survivors into
2652s the dream yeah so stars will be pulled
2655s passively into the dream that will count
2658s towards the achievement so safe ready
2659s and you should be alright
2660s you're gonna be fine alright and just as
2664s a thing I don't know if I said you're
2666s gonna switch between snares and pouts I
2667s meant that you're gonna take snares and
2669s switch to pallets okay for those of you
2671s who we didn't know we weren't sure about
2674s that last week or more sure about this
2675s this week Freddy testing is still
2677s ongoing yeah another question that comes
2679s up a lot
2681s what's the advantage of waking up the
2684s advantage of waking up is that you don't
2685s have the look you want to deal with a
2687s lullaby
2687s lullabies is harder to use to pinpoint
2689s where Freddy is so we can really come up
2691s out of nowhere in addition to that is
2692s adilyn's and his dream abilities so like
2695s the trap and the snare on the pallets
2697s will make it so it's a lot harder for
2699s survivors to escape Freddy while they're
2701s being in chases specifically they're
2702s slowed down
2703s right specifically the snare mm-hm yeah
2705s which you can so you don't get a
2707s slowdown when you use these abilities so
2710s when you place a trap you're moving at
2711s your natural 4.6 meters a second same
2714s thing that goes with the pallets so you
2716s can really use them actively in a chase
2718s it will take a little time to arm so two
2720s seconds your place it in front of you
2721s and then it will grow to its pool of
2724s blood if you will there was really sick
2726s innovations later and then when the
2730s survivors come around for their second
2731s loop they will get slowed you can always
2733s place this ahead of time as well if you
2735s assume that players are going to use
2736s certain loops alright I think that's it
2741s for the Freddy questions we had a lot of
2744s questions in the Q&A about the riff the
2746s archives the charms that are upcoming
2749s we're gonna give information when we're
2752s getting closer to the release date on
2754s this one that's why today we're not
2756s gonna talk about this we're still in
2757s development yeah unless you have
2760s something to say you were like nodding I
2762s can't I can't okay you're just teasing
2765s it's pretty cool all right we had a we
2772s had questions about maps as well so
2774s future Matt we work rework milestones
2777s are mostly focused on one specific map
2780s or is it possible that we will see
2782s several map reworked at once so when we
2786s were on the livestream last week we had
2789s Matt Walker with us that explained so if
2791s you missed it you can go and check it
2794s check it back out that was really
2796s explaining how much work is gonna be put
2798s on those reworks
2800s so it's not simply you know changing a
2803s couple of things doing these map free
2806s works doesn't mean that we're not
2808s touching anything else and other maps as
2810s well bug fixes improvements that's gonna
2812s happen still it's just that we are
2814s concentrating on these maps we're
2817s offering a lot more yeah replayability
2821s we're literally building more Maps as
2825s well so they're ultimately we're gonna
2828s get to the other maps yes in time it
2831s won't be a quick process unfortunately I
2834s think it's really cool what he's doing
2835s I'm having a lot of fun with it myself
2837s and Walker and his team but ultimately
2841s it will it will take a little time to
2843s get through each of the different
2844s variants and themes it's the same thing
2845s as the hair and everything it's an
2847s ongoing process but we're getting there
2850s slowly generally we're gonna we're gonna
2851s mention this a few times I got so we're
2857s going on on more general questions and
2859s questions that people are asking so
2863s starting with the first one as the team
2865s look at removing secret offerings from
2868s the loading screen there are a few
2870s enough potential secret offering that is
2872s prevent them from being a secret so

2875s ultimately that was the guy who asked I
2877s just I've seen this question come up
2880s often
2881s and in forums and reddit and on Stevie
2884s and I wanted to mention that we do have
2887s thoughts on this there's no changes that
2889s we can Alex just at the moment but it is
2890s something that we want to let you guys
2892s know that it is on a radar we do want to
2894s look into doing something for this it
2896s could be something as simple as not
2898s showing an offering for the killer at
2900s that point or not showing them at all
2902s but this is a decision that we have to
2903s take and go through with to make sure
2906s that it doesn't compromise the integrity

2911s when is that rework going live and you
2916s know are we are we going live like it is
2918s in the PTB right now okay so first
2920s question you can test it now in the PTP
2922s which is what you already said and it
2925s should go live when the chapter comes

2930s some fair amount of feedback from the P
2933s TV safe on hooks make it very easy to
2935s get metalman to trigger off in addition
2937s to that medal oh man right now is
2939s trigger bull while you're a healthy
2940s whereas before I was only trigger but
2942s while you were injured we are looking
2944s this old you know to kind of like segue
2946s into that we are going to be removing
2948s the safe and hooks for the release and
2951s we're going to be making it so that you
2952s have to be injured to trigger the metal
2955s man activation so the ignoring of a hit
2959s okay so that's plan for the rework the
2962s little the release or it is planned for
2964s later planned for their release okay so

2967s will not be in its current state that
2969s you've seen the PTB and it will not be
2970s like it is live it will be a bridge

3030s update our killers but it takes a fair
3032s amount of resources specifically for the
3034s nightmare it took a crap ton of
3035s resources yeah but that was a rework but
3039s that was a rework oh oh the question was
3041s asking a rework they're there they're
3043s saying rework oh they're saying up they
3044s said updating yes I just wanted to say
3047s the nightmare himself is like a big
3048s rework whereas the updates are a little
3050s more easier to do but some of them are
3053s not as high priority than others so for
3054s example we looked at the Legion recently
3057s we did the race before that we're doing
3060s the nightmare now and we've got trust
3062s passes as well on the trapper and the
3064s hag they're the reigning mini killer
3067s list is still like the nurse as one of
3069s the high priorities doctor in cannibal
3073s cannibal has been asked often so what
3075s would we do with the cannibal for
3076s example one of the things that comes
3079s back often and this is a suggestion is
3081s that the charge action when it finishes
3083s it should start the actual chainsaw rush
3086s instead of juggling it currently like
3089s you currently can do and you try to
3090s guess when you get to the end so that's
3092s one of the tweaks you can possibly do we
3094s can also make it so that when you get to
3095s the end there's a color change maybe an
3097s animation change
3097s really showing you that something is
3099s happening so to Segway on this there is
3102s also a question about missing ultra rare
3105s add-ons for some killers yeah does that
3109s come with a with an update example yeah
3112s so when we look at these killers we
3114s should be updating their add-ons as well
3115s so for example with the rework we're
3117s gonna be changing all of Freddy's
3119s add-ons in the past I believe we added a
3122s new alter add-on for the trapper I
3124s remember that correctly yes we did his
3127s update as well so this should be
3128s something that comes with the next
3130s killer updates that will be coming which
3132s includes obviously the nurse and the
3134s chainsaw Bros and so on and so forth
3137s there are there was some love to be
3138s handed around all right there was also
3141s two questions we added last minute this
3145s ton effect the new stun effect on
3147s pallets the be in effect the VFX yes
3150s there's a lot of feedback on that one so
3152s is that gonna say that way what are we
3154s doing with this I don't know if you guys
3156s noticed probably yeah so right now when
3159s you get stun you get a red vignette that
3161s comes up while you're doing this down to
3163s animation we've got some feedback from
3165s the players that this is a bit too
3166s strong right now we're looking
3168s internally to find out what the good
3170s balance is here is there an area that we
3172s can explore to have this kind of visual
3175s feedback in addition to the camera shake
3176s and how can we do it that's pleasant for
3179s the majority we had a question but
3182s what's a via fix Steph what's a via fix
3186s how does that out of that I just want to
3191s make it so simple virtual there's no
3195s virtual effect alright another question
3203s was coming a lot was so we change
3206s enduring right yes and we didn't touch
3209s the DES stun no so why is that so
3214s so you referring to the fact that I
3217s mentioned back in the day that we might
3219s revisit enduring yeah EDS done
3222s specially if they drink was i am i am
3224s referring exactly to this yeah yeah you
3226s have a good memory everyone they have a
3229s better memory ultimately right now I
3233s think decisis Reich is in a good place
3235s I don't see as much frustration towards
3237s it I think it's working and doing what
3239s it's intended to do I think the time
3242s frame is okay for the moment with the
3244s changes to enduring I'm gonna continue

3248s see if it is problematic and if it is
3250s problematically will reduce it okay at
3252s the moment I do not believe it is that

3255s I will hear feedback I'm sure on the
3257s forums yeah and we'll see what we can do
3260s for further releases but for the moment
3261s it will not be changing and for those
3263s who are not sure about what they
3264s happened to enduring enduring went from
3266s a faster recovery which meant that you
3269s were recovering in at one point fourteen
3270s seconds to a flat reduction which means
3273s that we basically divided the stun time
3276s by two and now it's happening in one
3279s second instead of two seconds so it's
3283s actually a small buff but it only
3285s affects poets there's a question pretty
3288s thing Phil they're asking you to voice
3290s act than the future male character but
3293s you already were a voice actor for a lot
3296s of character in the game right yeah
3298s specifically killers to him actually a
3299s new one I hope do it Jeff yeah Jeff yeah
