[2021] Does my character level have any effects on matchmaking?

Right now the amount of time you spent playing a character does not affect the mm, but they released update on the MMR on the 11th of January 2020 here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/217721/developer-update-january-2021

They announced it'll come back in the near future for another test.
