PSA: This Player Test Build (PTB) includes improvements that will reduce patch times in the future. However, as a result, opting in or out of this PTB will require a very large download.

@bowcake101 Player Test Builds (PTBs) are different from betas. The PTB is still only available on Steam for the time being, while betas are individual features that can be enabled on the live game once the update is released.

@imic_hilton PTBs are still only for Steam for technical reasons. Betas are something different. They are features that can be toggled on and off once the update goes live, and those *will* be available on consoles.

@PastryWaffles_ There are no plans to bring the PTB to consoles at this time. Betas are something different. They'll be available on all platforms once the update goes live and can be toggled on and off in the options.
