First, make sure your username in game is shown correctly as your steam profile, and not your computers name. If its not matching your steam name, restart Steam and log back in.
If that doesnt work, go to your D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames folder, find the most recent Backup save and change its name to player.sav replacing the original one.

Also try the new in game recovery option, its in the options and account, where you can choose older saves

Be sure to check your username to make sure its correct; try restarting steam. It does save backups serverside but might still be issues with that. Just in case.. If you retired you are supposed to lost your upgrades and have your class level reset.

I think items from the supporter back are unlocked for free in the vanity terminal; as for progress missing follow the listed steps closely. If you have no save files in the folder you can probably get a new one if you contact Bjorn on the official discord

Hopefully its not happening to the same person more than once; a lot of people seem to be deleting the game entirely and not receiving a backup from the steam cloud
