Hi there,
Two years have passed since my purchase of the game on steam, on july the 3rd, 2018 was the year. I don't remember well that day, just that a friend of mine told me about that game that had dwarves in space fighting insects in caves... Like Minecraft, but much more angrier. We said to each other "Why not ? It's a coop game with guns and pickaxes". So we bought it. We felt in love from the first mission. Then we bought it to a friend, then to an another one, and then an another one... Soon enough, we were four dwarves, digging the space life with bugs and blood and minerals and beers.
Needless to say, we love that game. I spent time to write a critic [FR], to express my love to that beautiful, ingenious, well polished and very very very fun game. At first I found it cool but simple and I thought that "simple" wouldn't keep my attention in the long term. But here we are, two years and 500 hours of playtime late... The more I play DRG, the more I like it and the more I appreciate all its little and big qualities alike. The sound and light design, the models, the mechanics... all of it.
So here it is : thank you very much Ghost Ship Games for creating (and maintaining) such a wonderful game. I have nothing more to say, thanks to you 4 friends kept in touch while being separated and scattered on all corners of France. Your game has been a great excuse to reunite and chat on discord while smashing bugs, and we never ceased to be amazed by your work.
You gave a lesson to the industry, that great games doesn't need millions and millions to be achieved. And doing so you alowed me and my friends to enjoy many many great times.
Thank you.
