Updates are usually monthly. 25 only took so long because GSG took a vacation. Usually we get a series of teasers in the weeks leading up to it.

Just to clarify, it was both the national summer holiday (all kids get 1.5 months off for the summer, and we try to coordinate the 2-3 weeks of vacation during the summer holiday - we had three weeks without lunch at the office, due to this D:) _and_ due to the fact that this update has been bigger than any of the previous ones.
That said, the big updates are pretty much impossible to fit in a month - especially when the previous update has a long tail of fixes, like the hotfixes we are during now.
We do have a date set internally for update 26, which might change due to a lot of things, but we'll get it out there once we're confident that it can happen. Stay tuned!
All these hotfixes and I'm still waiting for update 26.
edit: dunno why everyone took this as an offense. I'm just super hyped for the machine events. I'm not knocking anyone.
