My roommate and I bought this game together and after 5 hours I gotta say, nice.

So far, I've been playing engineer, roomie has been playing gunner and driller. We spent around an hour and a half doing our first mission which must be longer than usual because we both got trophies for it. Anyway, whole way through our experience so far, we've both kept saying, "bruh, this game is so sick."

First mission when we got out of the shuttle, we used all our ammo shooting bugs in the first tunnel. It took us so long to get out of the starting room. We didn't know we were supposed to dig through the brown dirt but my friend figured out how to drill through the wall at one point and we were like "yoooo". He just kept drilling through f*cking everything until he ran out of fuel.

Then we started using our pickaxes to fight our way through the caves because we had no ammo. We both kept dying but we managed to make it through, reviving each other. We found out you need nitra to call an ammo resupply and at that point we were using our laser pointers on everything and I hovered it over the right rock and saw the word nitra come up and I was like "nitraaaa" and then I pressed r2 and my dwarf was like "nitraaaa" and we were both like "yoooo"

We ended up mining basically everything we saw from that point on. Got enough nitra to call some more ammo down after we ran out again and at a certain point, my friend found out he had mines, but at that time, we weren't sure if they were mines so he threw it down and was like "what does this do?" And blew it up in both our faces. We were both like "broooo wtf" also that's how we found out that some of the bugs drop gems, so every time we killed one, we would say "loot bug looted" because that's what our guys would say too. So every minute one of us would see one and we would say "loot bug looted" and at this point I realised "yo, this game is pretty good"

We played some other missions too but got a lot better at that point, even though we failed a bunch of them too. There was one where we found a giant sack and I hit it with my pickaxe, only for a huge boss to come out and wreck both of our sh*t because we didn't have any nitra at that point to get more ammo and we were both just stunned like "dude wtf was that?" It was so intense, we both just started panicking and actually, my roommate killed me with his mine but it was so funny at the time. He tried to run away but ended up dying to one of the normal bugs. So we learned not to go to that region. We also tried the egg retrieval as well but literally could only find 1 egg before we both died and even then it took my friend drilling for about 20 minutes to find it.

But anyway, just wanted to express my fondness for this game, pretty fun, finally starting to get good at this point. My roommate messaged me while I was at work and said he unlocked the freeze ray so I'm super excited to get home and play with him again.
