[2023] Jet boots' problem

Is it just me, or the new jet boots seem to kind of ruin some of the game's mechanics?

With the new boots, the grappling hook, hover boots perk, zip lines and platforms are pretty much useless in terms of movement. I don't mean that I want the boots removed, but just make it so that you cannot always use them, so the mechanics I mentioned earlier have some use.

I would like to know everyone's opinion on this.
