UPDATE 7/23: I was not expecting more than 2 or 3 people to respond. Thank you all for your input and for letting me put my concern out in the open. I will take everything that has been said into account, and well...I'll just have to start doing a big old nose dive into the open teams online to see what works best for me. Thank you as well to the people who reached out for invites, I will respond to them shortly if I haven't already.

Yep. 9 years. Have played games solo and with my best friend (whom I met back in the Destiny heyday) when they have time here and there this whole time. But I have never been good at initiating conversation and get sweaty palms thinking of setting up an open team for peeps to join. Also, I'm not a dude, so that hasn't helped either given past encounters being very rude and inconsiderate.

For reference, I discovered DRG on PS earlier this year, and I enjoy playing solo at my own pace as someone who's that good ol' ADHD. But as I get older and have very few close friends (most of which don't play games), I find myself wishing I could partake in shenanigans with others more often.

ROCK AND STONE (FOR TAX)!!!

EDIT: "PS" being "Playstation" and not a typo for "PC", sorry for any confusion.

Hello, Miner!

This kind of social anxiety is not something to be ashamed of. But it is a great shame to let it keep you from delving with your most excellent fellow dwarves!

This is part of why we have tried to design the game to be played entirely without Voice if so desired. Through judicious use of your trusty Laser Pointer, emphatic tapping of your V key, and keeping an eye on Chat, you should be fully capable of going on team delves without uttering so much as a word.

I urge you to give it a try - join random missions with open slots, throw a few Rock and Stones at your fellow dwarves, and you'll be co-opping in no time. The worst that can happen is that you find out that it's not for you, and you can return to your solo delving.

Best of luck.

Rock and Stone!
