So I guess they do realize Shadowkeep wont be their most popular DLC, but they are using it as a base to build whatever they are building for Destiny 2 in the future.

That seems acceptable.

What I dont agree with, is saying that Forsaken broke a lot of bones on D2, when it was basically the DLC that "saved" the game, I hope they dont try to approach D2Y1 gameplay style again with everything being slow as heck (which I doubt is whate they are going for), because it will be controversial to say the least.

They need to mesh the best of Y1 with the best of Y2 and hope it ends up being a decent formula.

I wouldn't say that "breaking bones" is a negative thing. It's more a reference to making deep changes to the game that affect a lot of things and usually requires a lot of work under the hood. Adjusting the weapon slots in Forsaken was "breaking bones" of loadout creation, but I think...hope most players would agree it was a positive change.

/u/Cozmo23 Still no word on the ground stop and how you plan on addressing this as a general boss mechanic? Is Bungie just going to ignore that topic?

The team is aware of the feedback on boss stomps. Nothing to confirm today, but it's not being ignored.

What's up with the D22523 News post u/Cozmo23? Is it a placeholder for the TWAB?

Not sure. Think it's just an error as DeeJ definitely didn't do it lol. I'll look into it.

That's the answering chord from TTK. It's what they always use as the placeholder weapon in development scenes like that.

You know what's up.

Bungie web engineer here. This is just a side effect of the way our news system works, that number is just the ID of something in the published content. Could be a video, help article, random image asset, who knows. Most likely, this is just the title of some item totally unrelated to news articles. No need to head to r/raidsecrets :)

Question: why Answering Chord particularly? Is it because of the color? The model? Personal preference?

I think I changed it a few years ago when we were implementing PBR between D1 and D2 because it had some nice curvy surfaces to showcase reflections and improved normal quantization.

Are you aware of the warlock melee situation?

Yes, we are aware of the feedback. I've let the team know that players would like Warlock melee speed to be increased to match the other classes.
