There's something with the rail that makes it feel... flaky. Even with a moderate ping that should be fully compensated client-side, the game can be unforgiving with what it deems a valid hit.
For example, take a look at this 7 second clip where I miss 4 consecutive rail shots, where my ping is 45ms and stable.
Did I just manage to miss the edge of the hitbox? I checked my recording, with screenshots of the frame before/after, and feel it needs some fine tuning. Keep in mind that my game is running at 250 FPS, so there's a couple frames between those provided where I may have shot.
Anyone else feel similarly?
