Hey guys, just started playing Eco for the first time today and while I think it's an amazing game, it runs very very poorly.
I have a terrible laptop. I'm talking 1.1ghz CPU here.
I can play it with the worst possible graphics settings at a solid 15fps surprisingly, but I'd love to know if anyone has any methods to improve performance as this game looks incredible.
External link →Play a smaller world, other then that I don't think you can do anything other than waiting for the developers to optimize or to buy better hardware. Sadly as the game is indeed incredible.
In that case getting better hardware is the way to go, this does not even slightly fulfill the minimum requirements and never will. We'd also recommend to get a stationary PC, as most Laptops will not be able to power Eco.
